The deep axial fasciae envelopes the organs of the body. they are generally composed of two sheets that glide and slide on top of eachother ensuring elasticity, free movement and changes of volume of the organ.
the axial deep fascia is very responsive to fear and emotions. when this fascia clenches up and reduces its elasticity and healthy tonus it inevitably generates a feeling of anxiety in the person.
this fascia has a different name, sensitivity and responsiveness according to which organ it contains. the axial deep fascia embraces the pharynx (throat), the pericardium (envelope of the heart), the pleura (envelope of the lungs), the peritoneum and the perineum.
This fasciae is a reflection of how we adapt emotionally to life. when it is elastic and supple it generates a sensation of freedom and ease, or on the contrary, when tight it restricts us in our feeling of existence and becomes a real straitjacket.
